One Cup Coffee joins our donor team

Posted on March 16th, 2021 by Charles Grey

One Cup Coffee is the latest small business to step forward with a plan to raise money and awareness in support of PSFA. It is heartening to see businesses at all stages of their growth journey supporting our work. Every kilogram of coffee sold from the One Cup Coffee website will enable PSFA to provide a child affected by poverty with daily cooked breakfasts and lunches while at school, for a period of 10 days. Says owner, Carl Schonland, “The work of the PSFA has been on my radar for many years. We now have an opportunity to contribute to the organization in a small but sustainable manner. As we grow our business, we can grow our support for the crucial work they do.” One Cup Coffee is also sold through selected Spars, OK MiniMarks and independent stores. The company aims to raise money for PSFA through these channels too and believes that the exposure PSFA receives on their packaging will help raise awareness for the organization and the work it does to a wider audience within the Cape Peninsula. One Cup Coffee was created with a simple idea in mind: How to solve the creeping complexity consumers face when choosing their coffee. “We wanted to create the perfect go-to speciality coffee brand. One house blend, made from ethically sourced green beans, medium roasted, to produce a consistently delicious and satisfying everyday coffee experience,” says Schonland. “A delicious hot cup of coffee is a simple pleasure on an ordinary day. A simple pleasure that becomes just that little bit more satisfying in the knowledge that its purchase has contributed to a programme that addresses a critical need for children in the short-term, with major positive benefits in the long-term.” If you would like to support PSFA through One Cup Coffee, please visit their website at www.onecupcoffee.co.za to get your coffee delivered to you.  ]]>
