In being proactive and playing our part in saving water, PSFA has decided to change to a non-cooking menu for six months, starting Monday 22 January 2018. This change will also ensure that there will be no stockpiling at schools where cooking can be interrupted due to no water. We will still ensure that the learners will continue receiving two meals a day, a cooked breakfast in the morning and a sandwich with a variety of spreads for lunch. We have ensured that the spreads we provide will still address the nutritional needs of our learners and that the vital breakfast meal is still in place to kick-start their day. Our aim is to make certain that children continue to be fed daily during this water crisis. We hope that this decision to change our menu meets with your approval.
